What a day! We all met for the flight to the Cosmic City, but something went wrong. Space Maintenance Engineer Richie accidentally launched our rocket into space!
We were so confused that we pressed the Easy Button instead of trusting God, now we’re lost! I sure hope I can take care of all the medical needs of our space crew.
Luckily we’ve got I.R.I.S.: the Intergalactic Response Information System. She told us that we should put our trust in God instead of trying to take the easy way. I hope we can find our way to the Cosmic City, but I trust in God to help us all the way! -Tootie, R.N.

Space Maintenance Engineer’s Log: 1
We landed on the planet Zoran today! The only people we met were a magician named Slick and Sparkle his assistant. Slick told us he’d help us get to the Cosmic City, but ended up just tricking us into giving away our most valuable possessions. What’s up with that?
We were all worried because our stuff was gone, and I wanted to press the Easy Button again. Then we were reminded by I.R.I.S. that we should trust in God when we are worried or in trouble. I decided that maybe we should trust in God instead. And you know what? Everything worked out for the best.

Today we landed on the Planet of Fun! We even decided to let Sparkle join us and she taught us her ancient secret greeting.
Everyone was having such a great time on the planet that we all forgot about our mission. The only way to get off the planet was by winning a dance off against the locals and Tootie, Amanda, and Jacques won! I.R.I.S. told us about miracles, and said that God and his son Jesus performed miracles in order to show their power and help people. I can’t wait to get to the next planet!

Wahoo! We landed on Planet Bobbo today! We were all fighting the whole time, which wasn’t pleasing to God. In fact, we might never have been able to get off the planet if we hadn’t learned to work together.
We had to compete in the Annual Freestyle Swim Meet and Fried Chicken Eating Festival against the planet’s champions: The Jonas Brothers! The Jonas Brothers came in first place. Luckily, second prize was a trip to the Cosmic City! We’ll finally get to the Cosmic City!

We’ve finally made it to the Cosmic City! It’s been a long week, and I don’t know if we would have been able to make it without having our faith in God the whole time.
I was so excited to see the Cosmic City but then I realized that all of the friends I had made this week would be leaving me! I talked to I.R.I.S. and she told me that even though my friends would be leaving me, Jesus would never leave me. She also told us that when we know Jesus we need to tell others about Jesus too! Even though the week is over, the journey is really just starting!
I’ll finally enter the Cosmic City this Sunday morning. Be sure to invite your friends and family for the conclusion of our journey. We’ll have a wonderful free lunch party immediately following the morning’s activities.
See you Sunday! Hopefully you’ll be there to support me!

Sunday – Posted by Intergalactic Response Information System

What a week, I hope you had a wonderful time at Vacation Bible School this year! I pray that you have learned that the most important decision you will ever make is to become a member of God's family. God wants you to join His family; you just need to say yes.

Remember it's as simple as A-B-C.

  • Admit that we all make wrong choices. The Bible calls those wrong choices sins.

  • Believe that Jesus, God's Son, died on the cross to forgive us of those sins.

  • Confess to Jesus that you are sorry for sining, believe He died for you, and that you want to be in Heaven with Him one day.

  • How do you do that? Just by praying?

    Dear God,
I know I have sinned and that my sin separates me from You. I am sorry for my sin. I believe Jesus died on the cross so that I can be forgiven. I believe Jesus rose from the dead and is alive.
God, please forgive me. I ask Jesus to come into my life and be my Savior and Lord. I will obey you and follow you.
    Thank you.

If you have trusted Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, you can be sure that

  • Your sins are forgiven
  • You are a Christian
  • You are a child of God
  • God will always be with you
  • You will go to Heaven when you die

  • What can you do now?

  • Tell others that you are a Christian and that Jesus is your Savior and Lord.
  • Attend church regularly
  • Read the Bible and pray to God each day

  • South Park Church invites you to take part in our programs and services designed for the entire family. Join us as we discover more about the Awesome Wonders of God.

    Love,
    I.R.I.S.
